This was so important for us to do ‼️⁣ ⁣ Over the years whenever we talked about having kids, we talked about:⁣ ⁣ -How we both wanted to feel as parents⁣ ⁣ -How we wanted to share the load⁣ of raising kids⁣ ⁣ -How we wanted to show up for each other ⁣ ⁣ -What my postpartum journey might look like and what I would need ⁣ ⁣ -How involved we wanted our families to be ⁣ ⁣ -Things we wanted to take from our own childhoods and things we wanted to leave behind ⁣ ⁣ And let me tell you, while some of those conversations were hard and many of them had to happen a few times before we reached any conclusions, it’s allowed us to be on the same page when it comes to parenting now and I couldn’t be more grateful ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ⁣#newparentslife #twinparents #twinmom #twinparents #blackparents #twinsofinstagram #boygirltwins #newborntwins #babytwins #blackparenting #parentslove #blacktwins #3monthspostpartum #3monthsoldbaby #3monthold #3montholdtwins
