I made little stamps from vinyl linoleum which can then be used to create ceramic figurative sculptures/ornaments- or just a lovely way to decorate pottery. For these birth goddess figures I made a slab of clay and then pressed the stamps firmly into them, before cutting the impression out of excess. I love how the texture of the carved Lino shows through. Now they’re drying ready for a bisque firing at @sarahgeeceramics studio.
