On this day in 1952, Linus Van Pelt made his Peanuts debut in Charles Schulz’s iconic comic strip. He also happens to be my absolute favorite of the gang (after all, he IS sincere). She told me several times how she loved these Leontine and Ray comics. Gail departed earth this morning for the next great adventure. Fittingly, she was the absolute funniest, warmest, most sincere woman—one of my favorite people in the universe—who will live on through the multitude of hilarious stories about her.
