⚪️🐩SAVE THIS FAB ONE FOR LATER!🐩⚪️ Click here to follow for more dog tips ➡️➡️➡️ @lovemuddoglady It’s one of the things I’m asked most often… “How do you get rid of mouth staining on white dogs?” Unfortunately you can’t solve them completely, but you can take steps to make them less visible… 🧬 THE SCIENCE BIT!🧬 All dogs have some level of tear or mouth staining, but it’s annoyingly much more visible on the white coats! WAHT CAUSES IT?: “Porphyrin is a naturally occurring substance in the tears and saliva and tends to show up as a pink/brown colour where your pet has licked, dribbled or produced lots of tears. The staining of the fur itself is of no actual harm to your pet; however, it is important to get to the bottom of why it is happening if it new or changing, and I would definitely advise that you discuss this further with your vet.” (Vet Help Direct) Groomers can remove much of this mouth staining either with trimmers, or carefully with small scissors - depending on what tool the dog is used to, and what technique they’re most happy with. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ONLY DO THIS IF TRAINED!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️ How do my floofy clients stay so still???
