• 🏡 W I L D • W E D N E S D A Y 🏡 I can’t believe it’s Wednesday already 😯 #169-Perfectly Nice Neighbors by Kia Abdullah Pub Date: Out Now! 💪🏼”I really liked it” Here’s Why: I really loved Abdullah’s, Take It Back so I was super excited for this one. She has a way of weaving in so many powerful messages and really examines race, prejudice and stereotype. She does so unbiasedly and gives both sides of the story letting her readers feel the emotions and see the line of demarcation. This novel is no different. I was on the edge of my seat watching the volley of hatred pass back and forth between families. Things just keep spiraling and getting worse and worse. One small thing turned into a ruining of lives and families that was crazy. It’s believable and unapologetic, if not a bit extreme. The pacing was great, the final twist caught me off guard and I enjoyed it.
