The @f1 Grand Prix was in #Singapore the last weekend (@f1nightrace) and it was a blast! The city was buzzing with tourists from all over the world but this year’s def more quiet than last year. Here’s a recap of the top 5 best & worst moments from the #singaporegp this year! 🏎️ Bests: 1. Driver Meet & Greets: happened at Zone 1 and it was my first time seeing the drivers (kind of) up close. So fun getting to know their personalities a bit more! 2. When Redbull was out of qualifying: omg everyone was cheering 🫢 and I think them out of qualifying made the racing 100x more exciting! 💨 3. Viewing from the pit grandstand: saw all the drama, pit stops, and even a crash (more to come on this). I saw Max storming off after qualifying, Yuki dejectedly walking away TWICE, and Carlando taking the podium! 🏆 4. CONCERTS + seeing @88rising artists take the main stage: such underrated artists but so happy they get this exposure. @brianimanuel & @nikizefanya was SO GOOD, @postmalone was 🔥🔥🔥, can’t say the same for Jackson Wang lol… 🥴 5. My main @landonorris & the @mclaren team taking second, so proud and well-deserved!! 🥈And @carlossainz55 brining it home for @scuderiaferrari after such a tumultuous season. ⭐️ Worsts: 1. Less people but more lines: I was sooo disappointed by zone 1 efficiency. There were lines everywhere, especially for the toilet and the bar. There were less people this year but somehow the experience was worse, especially the non-gender specific toilets. 🤢 2. @lance_stroll taking a big crash right at the pits, it was actually horrifying to see it irl and even worse when I saw it on replay but glad he got out OK. Thank goodness for technological advancements . 💪🏼 3. @yukitsunoda0511 getting shafted during qualifying even though he had the best score for round 2, then had to retire the car in the first lap… tragedy. 😢 4. POOR @georgerussell63 catching the wall on the last hot seconds of the LAST LAP cuz he was pushing so hard 😭😭😭 5.
