📍Castel Thun / Val di Non 🇮🇹 Built in half of the 13th century, the castle dominates the top of a hill in the Val di Non, which is close to the herd of apple trees in flower in spring. For centuries, the castle was the residence of Thun, one of the most anti-gas and powerful families of Trentino nobles. The eagle that strikes you once you cross the entrance is the perfect state of conservation of the furnishings, among which the marvelous Bishop’s Room stands out, richly furnished and covered in stone pine. Then there are the art collections, the period furniture, the weapons, the porcelain, the carriages... everything contributes to revive the atmosphere of the comfortable life of the country nobles centuries ago. Costruito a metà del XIII secolo, il castello domina la cima di un colle della Val di Non, vicino al gregge di meli in fiore in primavera. Per secoli il castello fu residenza dei Thun, una delle famiglie nobili trentine più antiche e potenti. L’aquila che colpisce una volta varcato l’ingresso è il perfetto stato di conservazione degli arredi, tra cui spicca la meravigliosa Sala del Vescovo, riccamente arredata e rivestita in cirmolo.
