So I checked out Oishii Bar for their Tempura Omakase during lunchtime, and was pleasantly surprised by how filling it could be, and that you don’t leave the space smelling like oil 😆 But I guess above all, I was happy for something different as an omakase. Some people might balk at an omakase not having sashimi, but you know what, I loved all the tempura because I love deepfried food, and the batter Chef Sato uses is light yet aromatic. He says he only uses egg yolk and water, and some flour for the batter. Im sure there is something else he’s not sharing hahaha 😆 The oil is premium so you don’t get the stale oil sensation. And all ingredients (except the white asparagus from Peru) are from Japan.
