She began cycling almost two years ago, starting from scratch after a 30+ year hiatus from riding bikes. Known as @ladygravelcyclist aka LGC, I am beyond proud of her accomplishments during this short period of time, and lucky to call her my partner / LOML. In addition to her regular rides, LGC has ridden at least 8 mixed-surface century rides across various parts of the USA, and earlier this year, super fun adventures in Tuscany, Italy, with our friends at @trektravel - She loves gravel cycling, and the exploration, fun, and off the beaten track scenery that comes with it. LGC is a lady of few words, but I am not shy in telling you a little more about her. A full-time medical professional making a difference and helping to save lives, home maker / mom raising a teenage daughter and two naughty dogs, she never complains, no online pity parties, even after two crashes that required hand surgery. She supports everything I do in all aspects of my cycling and regular gig beyond GC work life.
