Taking a trip down memory lane with the @_theupnup , where I delved into the early years of my tackle football journey. Contrary to the usual narrative, my path wasn’t paved with childhood football dreams. I emerged as a two-star recruit in high school, and when I arrived at the University of Washington, I was virtually unknown. But I was determined to carve my name into the sport. I owe my readiness for college football to my high school coaches. Their unwavering belief in me and their dedication to teaching the importance of behind-the-scenes hard work were instrumental. They instilled in me the value of trusting the process, even when nobody else could see the effort. This is why I pour my heart into training young athletes today. I was once that underdog, but I persevered, believed, and had faith that I’d reach the NFL. Seeing that dream come true fuels my mission to inspire the next generation of two-star recruits and overlooked athletes who are grinding in the shadows.
