Thank you to everyone who took the time to comment on my spectacles search the other week. I know I made a big drama out of it but my eyes have been a real issue recently. Earlier in the year my grumbling dry eye took a turn for the worse and I ended with such bad blepharitis I didn’t even want to leave the house. I’ve managed to get it under control thanks to my amazing optician but I still need twice daily eye masks and gallons of eye drops. Even then I struggle to keep my eyes open after 9pm which is a nightmare for someone for whom reading in bed is one of life’s greatest pleasures. Discovering I now need glasses was the final straw which I think is why I was in such a tizz. Anyway, I opted for frames from @cubitts in the end as so many of you had such good things to say about them and I’m absolutely delighted. This isn’t an ad; I just love them.
