How I have increased my deadlifts by 20kg in the last 6 weeks😎💪 1. Believed in myself/Stopped underestimating myself - honestly this is probably the biggest one, I could probably have done 10kg more to begin with if I just believed I COULD! 2. Tracking my weights - when I write down the weights I’m using for every set each week, I can see even small progressions whether it’s one more rep than the week before or 5kg more for just one set. If I didn’t write them down I’d more than likely just stick to my usual weight (which I did for so long) 3. Knowing your cycle (for girls) - knowing that some weeks of your cycle, your energy and strength will be decreased, so knowing it’s okay to maintain these weeks or even go slightly lighter is fine, this is just working with your body and if you start to notice patterns, itll help you be self aware for when to reach for those PBS🥳 4.
