I was loading this sweet truck at the farm. I kneeled down to check out the tire size and something stuck in my mind FOREVER ! I worked at a farm in high school. These badass cabover Peterbilts would roll in all pimped out. Decked up, lights on top trailer and bottom with the chrome mud flaps swaying back and forth. The trucks were red and white and man they were sweet. Nothing like I had ever seen before ! Remember I’m getting old... This was before FB hay haulers page 🙂 The guy who we will see if anyone can guess would roll about 5 trucks deep. I asked why are you coming up here to Oregon when you're from California ? He pulled a few WATERMELONS out of his sleeper threw them to me and said “kid take these to your mom” They were hauling watermelons from Cali up to Seattle to Pikes Peak Market and hay was going to be a back haul. This was the first time I learned about back hauls. I was checking out this COOL truck. I knew if I ever had my own truck I wanted it low and cool like these. I kneeled down on one knee and was looking at the tire size. 255/70R/22.5 That's it I knew when I bought my first truck I was slamming it just like these !
