🚨ANOTHER WET HOP DROPS TODAY🚨 Ok, so, we know Pilsners have a low hype ceiling. Especially more traditional ones - like German Pilsner - where many award winning versions barely muster more than 3.5 caps on Untappd and releases are never met with much anticipation or fanfare or mules, let alone lines. They’re traditional, they’re simple, they’re straightforward, they’re REALLY FUCKING HARD TO MAKE WELL, yadi yada yada. But, what if we brought in a friend, who makes one of the best German Pilsners in the country…nay…world to collab on one? Like @reinheitsgeb_ash from @bierstadtlager out of Denver, which is currently inundated by all of your favorite brewers RIGHT NOW, as they pay homage to their Slow Pour Pils during GABF week. AAAAAAND, what if we timed it perfectly with @goschiefarms harvesting Tettnang AND Hallertau fields on back to back days, so that we could first wort hop it with fresh kilned whole cone Tett and load up the Mash-Tun-Hop-Back with 10#/bbl of WET Hallertau, amplifying traditional noble hop character while adding some pleasantly balanced, leafy layers of texture? WELL YOU WON’T BELIEVE IT BUT WE ACTUALLY DID JUST THAT. WET HOP PILS IS ON TAP AND IN 4PACKS TODAY.
