Aging is a funny thing and while I feel 21, I am acutely aware that as I head to 62, there are no guarantees. I work hard to try and stay fit, but I think I work harder trying to stay in a state of WONDER. By this I mean a state of awe, a place where everyday I try and be surprised by something that happens and makes me smile - a rainbow, a friend (Tolu) premiering her stunning new collection and using her clothing to tell stories of family history, a painting (Brett, Rabab, Dom, Matt and Ids) take away my breath almost daily. Why this picture, well it’s as close to a nude as I dare post, and I am grateful for the art on my body and thankful for the gifts that have allowed me to keep moving as I age. I am in awe everyday at the smallest of things and grateful that I have the presence of mind to notice them. I am positive that our positivity and love (unbounded) are the keys to making the world better … but I think it all starts with WONDER - an appreciation for just how magical this earth really is!!!
