Amidst a significant decline in approval ratings, and amidst a Canadian economy facing recession, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau remains steadfast in supporting Ukraine with a $1.2 Billion pledge in financial and military aid over the next 3 years. Recent polls, including the Angus Reid Institute, indicate a 63% disapproval rating. Additionally, a National Post poll found only a third of Canadians support aid to Ukraine.
