TANGERINE DREAM 1975: These are photos from the live concert TD performed at Coventry Cathedral in the UK on October 4th. What’s interesting is it’s a relatively small set up of gear (not really) as not to long after Peter Baumann had his huge Projekt Electronik Modular synth/sequencer system. The music they were playing at that time was so incredible taken from Phaedra and Rubicon as they had not yet recorded Stratosfear which was to come in 1976. The core instruments were the Mellotron, EMS Synthi and VCS3, Elka Rhapsody Strings, ARP 2600, Moog Modular a Fender Rhodes and an early PPG to the right of Edgar. I saw them in 1977 on the Encore Tour and that as truly amazing.
