Had a beautiful 3-day weekend in COLoRADO and as it comes to close I’m just super thankful @bdbhogz got to meet me here and wrap up this last leg of travel with me. We realized last month that we had fallen out of making time for each other and lacked taking advantage of opportunity like this (I work and play- he plays hah) I think it’s been a year since he had traveled with me 😞 . What you focus on grows and what you don’t… you know where I’m going with this. . so here we are focusing on a shared interest we’ve always had- traveling and mountains! We’re a passionate couple so we may have had some hiccups as i decided that walking (or racing up a mountain) was the most important thing in a moment 🙁 but we are always a work in progress and our passionate personalities always need some fine tuning when they get squeaky from lack of attention. Anyone feeling me on this?? . So cheers to putting oil in the car (aka the relationship) Dusting out the cobwebs, having Intentional conversations and so much more! . We hung out with some really cool @hotworxcastlerock owners and members, stayed in a fabulous airb&b, saw my BFF from Tulsa that moved to Denver 2 years who @ashley_ryan_izbicki and made time for hikes and coffee of course! Even a 4 year plan was developed for our couple /family goals while driving through the mountains and daydreaming! . Now it’s time to go home to the kids. Mom and Dad are in a better place for them too because we took a time out for us.
