What are they referring to, the colors? The way I apply paint? No, they’re talking about just plain ripping off the figures and concepts. There is no such thing as ‘the only way to go’. I just select a moment of peak action and paint it. You know, they have to find their own peak somewhere else. If you’re going to claim to be an artist, then you have to be original, you’ve got to run your influences through the blender and come up with something that belongs only to you.
