• 🦇 M U R D E R • M O N D A Y 🦇 #173-Black Sheep by Rachel Harrison Pub Date: Out Now! 💪🏼”I loved it” Here’s Why: Thank you to @scaredstraightreads for allowing me to be a part of this month’s book selection! I was thrilled! Don’t start this book unless you have time and the ability to not put it down! It was addicting! Totally reads cinematically and felt like a movie. We have a bad ass female, some really funny lines, horror and the sarcasm was superb! I think my favorite part of the whole thing was Harrison’s humor and barbed writing. I loved Vesper! She cracked me up and seemed so real. The things that happen in this book are not “normal” and her reactions to them are so realistic. The messy dynamics she has with her family were relatable and I felt for her. The horror aspect was spot on perfection! Anytime there is cannibalism in a book mixed with satanic cults you know you are in for a wild ride and I was there for it. This is perfect for spooky season!
