🎵😋おいしい! Happy National Lobster Day! The 🦞 à la Newberg at The Grill from Chefs Carbone & Torrisi’s Major Food Group, which also operates Contessa in Boston and Miami among other restaurants. The Grill is on The New York Times Best 100 NYC Restaurants List. Last photo is a little misleading: it would be packed half an hour later. On a week night! (There are actually 2 National Lobster Days in a year, which is fine with me since I ❤️🦞) For lobster lovers, what’s your favorite lobster dish? The Grill is located in Midtown off Park Avenue in NYC. It occupies the former space of the legendary Four Seasons Restaurant (not related to the hotel) which was designed by the famous architect Philip Johnson. I once had a lovely lunch at that Four Seasons Restaurant, which closed in 2019. It was a place to see and to be seen, especially the Pool Room. After Major Food Group took over the space and underwent painstaking renovations, one side was The Grill and the other side was The Pool serving seafood. But The Pool is now used only for private events.
