Griot du Vern says "Bonjour!" Father of our fully home grown Nadège de Barret, now 3 months old! With parents like Griot and Bamako it is no wonder that Nadège is so beautiful and has such a sweet character! Griot is such a gentle soul. Sadly, when not breeding with a compatible female, Griot has to live alone. One of few pure race Baudet du Poitou males approved by the special Commission to breed officially xith his breed, Griot has such an important role to help save the magnicent Poitou from extinction. He is sweet and gentle but unfortunately trained only for breeding since 3 years old and so every time he meets an equine, male or female, he can only think of one thing...He is so strong and muscular that this can be dangerous. He lives at my friend's and has the dog and cows for company. As well as us! Any equine near him and he just insists on trying to make them breed. He has an amazing temperament. Placid, relaxed and gentle....an amazing chap! His daughter Nadège is definitely a chip off the old block!
