Are your eyes are leaking now? 😭 Sam thought Butters was his Mom. He was a teeny tiny kitten when we got him, way too young to be away from his Mom, so Butters immediately took the role. Sam would nurse on Butters, make biscuits on his floofs. He always slept draped over Butters. They were as close as two living beings can be. When Butters got sick Sam refused to leave his side. He laid with him day and night until Butters last breath. And after Sam took it so hard mourning for months and months. He loves the border collies, but not until Leo has he started to cuddle up again.
