I was really excited for the release of this book I followed the author on Tiktok and often saw posts about it. I have to admit though that it wasn't exactly what I was expecting. It ended up feeling very YA and often I thought about not finishing. But then something would make me reconsider only to be dashed again! Don't get me wrong it's a cute and funny story. I just wanted something a bit darker. It was more of a light fluffy read… the only character I really enjoyed was Kingsley the frog.
