Inter house Kabaddi tournament 2023-24 was Inaugurated at SHUATS, PRAYAGRAJ on September 27, 2023 The Inter house Kabaddi Tournament was Inaugurated at Kabaddi court,SHUATS. Inaugural Match of the Tournament was Played between Pink house and RED house in Mens category and Red house vs Pink house in Women category. Pink house won the match against Red house by 47-25 in Mens category and Red house won the match against Pink house by 15 -13 in womens category. Inter house matches are being played on league basis. The Chief guest of the Inaugural Match of the Tournament was Dr. C J Wesley, Joint Registrar & Chairman, Athletics committee. On This Occasion Dr. Sunita B. John, Head, Department of Physical Education and Secretary, Athletic Committee welcomed Dr. C.J Wesley by presenting him a potted Plant. Kabbadi Incharge Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh welcomed Dr. Sunita B. John with potted plant. Later, the Chief guest encouraged the players to play the game with true spirit of sportsmanship and passion. He also congratulated the players of all house. Match was organized by Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh, Kabbadi Incharge of SHUATS. At the time of Inaugural match Dr. Devi Singh and All Physical education department staff and students were present.
