In partnership with @espnw, the Athletics Department recently hosted "Campus Conversations"--a special event that drew hundreds of students to Reed Arena. Designed to create discussions that support, educate, and inspire female student-athletes during their collegiate careers, along with preparing them for success after graduation, espnW's Campus Conversations was making its first visit to the Aggies' campus. The two-hour event featured dinner, a star-studded panel and breakout sessions for those in attendance, which included over 250 student-athletes and another 50 from the College of Education and Human Development. Joining ESPN coordinating producer Ande Wall on the panel were four former A&M student-athletes--ESPN softball analyst Amanda Scarborough '08; motivational speaker, mindset coach and swimming Olympic Gold medalist Breeja Larson '14; All-American and Under Armour track athlete Jazmine Fray '19; and SEC soccer champion, Women's Final Four participant and current JP Morgan Associate Sarah Shaw Eaton '16. Attendees not only had the ability to learn and listen and talk with the panelists, but also got to dive deeper into topics through small breakout sessions led by several other former student-athletes.
