Touch down to Ibiza for the very first time. Staying at @okuhotels which has been INCREDIBLE so far. The vibe is party but with a laid back edge. Carrot shots by the pool followed by spicy basil margs. Got dressed up which was FUN and had a sensational meal @okurestaurants cooked by @mark_vaessen and his brilliant team. The tuna tartar BLEW me away. Tuna belly topped with a nest of crispy frazzled wisps of potato, then a fried egg and caviar. Crunchy, salty and almost creamy with the the egg and tuna. So good! The kind of dish you don’t stop thinking about and a rare blessing to have such good food right on the doorstep of your hotel room. The restaurant was full of non hotel guests who’d come from all over the island and I am not surprised. Other things to note - the pool is luxuriously long, the sun-beds and squishy and huge (and unquestionably comfier than my bed at home), the service is brilliant (attentive but not overbearing) and… the margs are 10/10. I’ve heard so many people rave about @okuhotels Ibiza and they are absolutely right.
