If you’re ever at the Istanbul Airport on a layover, or have time to kill, or need a massage/shower/quick place for a nap without wanting to pay for the airport hotel, you can check out @ambassadorspa. I had about 5 hours between my flights and I didn’t have lounge access, and I wanted to be able to be relaxed enough to sleep on my flight back to Singapore, so I opted for a 2 hour massage (€179) at the spa which came with free locker and shower facilities. The spa is close by to the lounge so you can access it if you’re in international transit at @igairport. My massage was done by a Balinese lady so it was very relaxing without being overly strong, and I opted for the head and foot massage combo too so it definitely helped after my 2 weeks of traipsing around 5 different countries 😂 There’s a larger locker outside for your handcarry items, and a smaller one in the shower area for clothing etc. They’ll also provide a glass of Turkish tea after your service, which I love! 😍 I booked my appointment on the website but they’re also pretty responsive on emails and WhatsApp. You can also book a nap slot or shower slot only for the spa.
