Concurrently, whip up a tasty sauce by merging the listed ingredients in a different container. Keep the sauce cool until it’s needed. On a hot skillet, liquefy some butter and toss in the finely cut white onions. Gently fry the onions on medium flame for close to 10 minutes or until they begin to adopt a golden hue. Introduce the caramelizing sugar and a dash of bourbon (apply carefully) into the mix. Allow the onions to simmer until they achieve a soft texture. Set the skillet aside for the onions to cool.
