Here you can enjoy music from the Faroe Islands. We are a record label called TUTL Records based in Tórshavn, the capital of Faroe Islands, and have been active for 40 years. TUTL is now the leading record label, music catalyst and music hub on the Faroe Islands, and we distribute our releases worldwide. We are the musicians' label as TUTL is an association collectively owned by musicians and composers. TUTL was founded in 1977 by jazz musician and composer Kristian Blak. The name TUTL is a Faroese word meaning whisper. TUTL has - as of 2017 - released over 500 releases, many of which have received national as well as international acclaim. Some of the most popular TUTL artists - both current and former - are Eivør, Týr, Guðrið Hansdóttir, Hamferð, Marius Ziska, Valravn and Jens Marni.
