Insomniacks is a Malaysian pop band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Formed in 2015, the band comprises of Iqie (lead vocalist and guitarist), Wan Arif Iskandar (bass), Gavin Wong (drums) amd Danial Doodye (rhythm guitar). In 2017, the band produced an introductory single ‘Selalu’. In 2018, their second song ‘Pulang’ received a great response. The music video of ‘Pulang’ received over 23 million views, as well as highest streaming in various music platforms and getting 5x platinum of the total streaming downloads. The band gained great support from their fan club, dubbed as the ‘Maniacks’. Notably, their hit song ‘Pulang‘ received so much love that it achieved “Most Week in Charts 2019 (Domestic Song)”, “Most Streamed Domestic 2019” and “TOP 10 Most Streamed Singles In Malaysia”, according to the Malaysian Recording Industry Association. The Insomniacks retain the record as the only group to stay in Malaysia’s RIM chart for the longest time (a record of continuous 106 weeks).
