Since its inception in 2010 Smash the House has rapidly forged a reputation as one of the major players in recent dance music history. Now moving into its 6th year and continuing to surge out independent and cleverly crafted carnage, the Smash the House imprint has gained popularity for consistently delivering top quality dancefloor bangers, with current #1 Top 100 DJ’s Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike at the helm. This is reflected in its hit success rate – with the Bassjackers alone being involved in 2 genre #1’s on Beatport. The first, a collaboration with Thomas Newson, reached #1 in the Electro House chart, as did their solo track ‘Bring That Beat’, while their joint production with Coone and GLDY LX – ‘Sound Barrier’, reached #1 in the Hard Dance chart. Smash The House looks set to continue its rich vein of form going into 2016 while keeping true to it’s ethos of ushering in new talent. Artists such as MATTN, Magic Wand and Lea Rue all make their bow.
