Biography

My childhood wasn’t exactly the cool, laid-back upbringing a lot of LA kids experience. My parents were strict immigrants who believed that hard work paved the way to success, and I was discouraged from expressing anything outside the “norm.” I felt like an outsider a lot of the time. And I certainly never felt like I could be creative with my sense of style. I craved a community where I could truly be my authentic self. That’s why I started MeUndies. I wanted to create a platform for self-expression, where everyone could take part. Now, you can be a buttoned-up professional and still wear Unicorn Undies to a board meeting. Or you can keep it simple while feeling comfortable in your everyday black Undies. MeUndies is a brand championing inclusivity—fueling people to feel confident in who they really are. We’re not about conforming to social norms. We’re here so that everyone from every background can express themselves however they damn well please. Jonathan Shokrian Founder & CEO
