Biography
Cantante y Ceramista. Como cantante, Andrea Echeverri ha trabajado en el ambiente musical desde los 90`s. Para entonces, junto con Héctor Buitrago dieron forma a Delia y los Aminoácidos en Barbarie, un delirante antro nocturno en el barrio la candelaria de Bogotá. Allí comenzó un devenir musical fecundo y culebrero, que en 1993 se inaugura como Aterciopelados, la banda emblemática del rock colombiano. Andrea Echeverri ha editado 3 álbumes: "Andrea Echeverri" (2005), con el cual fue nominada al Grammy Awards 2006 y Latin Grammy 2005; "Dos" (2011) y "Ruiseñora" (2012). Las letras de las canciones de Andrea Echeverri, giran alrededor de temas ancestrales, ambientales, anti-bélicos y con Ruiseñora, su tercer disco solista, afianza su imagen como mujer neo-feminista y anti-machista. Actualmente continúa su carrera con Aterciopelados.
