Biography
Bathe Alone is the dream-pop moniker of multi-instrumentalist Bailey Crone. Taking shape in Atlanta, her haunting approach to songwriting and delicate vocal deliveries often draw comparisons to Beach House, Widowspeak, and The xx. Crone first burrowed her way into the Peach State's indie scene as a teenager where she picked up drums, guitar and bass early on. With a drumming vocabulary more akin to the punk world and ambient guitar drenched in delay rather than distortion, she was discovering a sound with an emphasis on mood. In 2020, Crone enlisted the help of producer Damon Moon - who immediately recognized an untapped potential in the project. Within months they completed what would become Bathe Alone's debut LP, Last Looks. The 2021 album quickly caught fire and received praise form publications like Under The Radar, DittyTV, and more. Recently the team finished her sophomore full-length, Fall With The Lights Down - due out this summer via Kansas City label The Record Machine.
