Biography
Dipha Barus is known as one of Indonesia’s finest musicians that combines traditional Indonesian instruments on his House-heavy tunes. The festive “No One Can Stop Us” of 2016 featuring Kallula rewarded Dipha his first Anugerah Musik Indonesia Award. His 2017 “All Good” featuring Nadin Amizah entered Spotify’s Global Viral 50 charts and Apple Music’s Beats 1. He has collaborated with celebrated Indonesian singers (Raisa, Bunga Citra Lestari) and newcomers (Monica Karina) aswell. Signing with ULTRA Records in 2019, “You Move Me” became his first international release, followed by “DOWN” featuring CADE in 2020; an effortless mix of House music with Pop sensibilities. “DOWN (VIP Remix)” gained support from the likes of David Guetta and Tiesto. Teaming up with American singer Jackie Castro, he released 2021’s “Flower”, which also got extended into “Flower (VIP Remix)”. Dipha’s latest Pop-offering is his 2021 single “(Keep It) Hush” featuring singer Afgan and Esther Geraldine.
