Biography
Edsilia Rombley staat voor onovertroffen veelzijdigheid. Soul, Pop, Jazz, R&B. Up tempo, ballads. Ze zingt net zo makkelijk Nederlands- als Engelstalige songs en wisselt haar theatertours af met tv-optredens. Als een van de Ladies of Soul stond zij al 15 keer in een uitverkocht Ziggo Dome. Met haar laatste theatertour The Piano Ballads & More stond Edsilia in vele theaters door heel Nederland. Na het winnen van de Soundmixshow in 1996, vertegenwoordigde zij ons land twee keer op het Eurovisie Songfestival en werd in 1998 4e met Hemel en Aarde. In 2017 vierde ze haar 20-jarig artiestenjubileum met een speciaal optreden in Theater Carré. In 2019 speelde ze de rol van Maria in de live tv-uitzending van The Passion vanuit Dordrecht. En dan nu, op 19 maart 2020, voor het eerst solo in de Grote Zaal van het Concertgebouw.
