ZBC2 Is a public owned Media by the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar . The station operates free to air (FTA Service) in Zanzibar, Pemba, Unguja, Coastal part of Tanzania, and the rest of Tanzania . The station was launched in January 12, 2015 seeking a partnership from FTA channel that will jointly run in reserving Islamic culture and Coastal tradition (that is more Islamic). The station run as non profitable organization aiming to shape youth generation in Tanzania who dominantly influenced by western culture. The station run for 24 hours a day and will be featuring various Islamic educational and entertainment content to raise and advocate morally accepted culture across the isles, coastal regions and Tanzania at large.
