Landon's legendary family has deep roots in the surfing community and have experienced successful professional careers (world record guinness record holders) from his father, uncle, to his older brother. With a solid foundation in place, it's no surprise that Landon followed in the same foot steps in his approach to surfing big at Pipeline and other notoriously big wave destinations around the world. Good family genes also led Landon to modeling. Landon won the VMAN FORD Model search in 2015 and was shot by Steven Klein for his first editorial. He's since then gone on to model for major publications and campaigns while juggling surfing. Landon notably landed a role in American Eagle's 2016 star-studded campaign alongside prominent actors and musicians shot by Cass Bird.
