Biography
Buscando reviver a histórica vocação musical da cidade de Ouro Preto (Minas Gerais), Rufo Herrera e Ronaldo Toffolo, associados a um grupo de instrumentistas que integravam o grupo Trilos e o Quarteto Ouro Preto, criaram, no ano de 2000, a Orquestra Experimental da UFOP, hoje Orquestra Ouro Preto. É formada por cerca de 30 músicos, aos quais se associam músicos convidados, em função do repertório a ser executado. Tem como Diretor Artístico e Regente Titular o Maestro Rodrigo Toffolo.
