SALMO (Maurizio Pisciottu, classe 1984) è un pionieristico artista sardo ormai di stanza a Milano, dove vive e lavora insieme alla sua crew, il collettivo Machete, in una factory warholiana che è casa e studio insieme, animata da rappers, produttori, grafici e videomakers. Da Olbia a Milano, dall'ambiente metal, punk-rock e hardcore dell'Isola, in poco tempo SALMO si è preso la scena rap italiana (oltre 40 milioni di visualizzazioni sul canale YouTube ufficiale) e ne ha cambiato i connotati di genere, introducendovi elementi di elettronica e rap hardcore come qui in Italia ancora non si era visto.
