O Instituto Akatu é uma organização não governamental sem fins lucrativos que trabalha pela sensibilização e mobilização da sociedade para o Consumo Consciente. Para o Akatu, consumo consciente é consumir com o melhor impacto, sem excessos e desperdícios, para que haja o suficiente para todos para sempre. Acreditamos que só haverá sustentabilidade se cada um consumir somente o suficiente para o seu bem-estar, não mais do que o suficiente.
