Mark your calendars Human Heroes - I'll be competing on American Ninja Warrior this coming Monday, 7/10 at 8pm Eastern on @NBC! It was quite a trip getting up there. The entire experience was one of the most challenging things I've ever done (more from a mental standpoint than anything else.) I'm incredibly grateful for the experience and it's given me a great deal of perspective - I guess flying around on the world's biggest jungle gym will do that. It was exciting and humbling, and eye-opening, and it has brought me to this sort of crossroads regarding how I move my body and why. Most importantly, it's really shown me what this 'keep moving' mantra really means. Is this the beginning of a new movement chapter? I guess we'll find out. . Below are a few photos of life leading up to the experience. Putting together my own costume - printing "Keep Moving' onto my own clothing brand @keeprwear, going for long mountain runs in Japan before flying back to Los Angeles (I grew up watching the original Ninja Warrior out of Japan called Sasuke so it was pretty neat to be coming from Japan), and then seeing my 'run number' pop-up one day during a bike ride months after competition... the whole thing has been pretty surreal in the best of ways. @AmericanNinjaWarrior #AmericanNinjaWarrior #NinjaWarrior
