It's not every day that we get the chance to meet and chat with our patients after life-threatening events, but when we do, it's truly special. Recently, we had an incredible surprise visit from a patient and his family at our station. They came by to express their gratitude for the life-saving care provided by our amazing crews on MA 201 & ME 201. This patient was facing a rare condition called torsades de pointes, but thanks to the quick action of our dedicated teams, he was promptly treated and transported to our local hospital. There, he underwent a successful procedure to receive a pacemaker and is now well on his way to recovery. Every day, we respond to calls and do our best to make a difference in people's lives. But moments like these, when we have the opportunity to reconnect with past patients and their families, remind us just how grateful we are for what we do. #EMSheroes #LifeSavingCare #GratefulMoments #RoadToRecovery.
