I’m turning 46 years old in 3 weeks from today. 😱 I’ve had 5 babies. And I have officially hit 6 years of lifting weights with @alexia_clark ‘s program TODAY! Best fitness decision I’ve ever made for myself. • • Before joining, I did a lot of cardio and body weight HIIT work. It worked well for awhile, but then as I was approaching 40, I could tell I was starting to put some fat on. That’s really what made me willing to venture into weight training, even if it meant I might get all big and manly, one of my fears and reasons why I never really got into it before this. Have I gotten bigger? Yes, but it’s all muscle. I even had to go up a dress size to accommodate these Booty gains. Am I mad about it? Nah.
