Jayden is 14 today ! She reminded me this meant it’s been exactly one year since her first horse riding lessons since that’s what she got for her birthday last year . She spent every last dollar she had on extra lessons after her lessons from us ran out …. Little did she know a few short weeks ago we were about to pull off the birthday of her dreams and start her future in motion ! I’m so proud of who she is and how passionate she is over the things she loves. She has worked so very hard educating herself , researching endlessly, and advocating for horses who don’t get a say.. she never stops impressing me with how strong she stands in her convictions. I hope she learned some of it from me …. From groundwork, to grooming tips, to general advocacy ! Jayden has been paying for her own feed , medical supplies, and grooming supplies by herself by saving up money farm sitting for friends and other odd jobs. I started a cash app to help her manage her goals for Spitfire Equine Rescue : $JaydenSheene We are currently trying to put weight and muscle both on her newest girl and control laminitis in her miniature. Any donations will go directly to feeding and or medicating Sparky (her mini) and Sage (her new horse) .
