My top client leads: 1. Instagram: Obviously this is a huge one. Social media in general. By posting consistently you’re reminding people who you are and that you’re an expert in your field. Even if its not right away, clients will automatically think of YOU when you’re services are needed. 2. Upwork: I still think it’s crazy how many freelancers either don’t know about this platform or who know but don’t utilize it. It took a VERY long time but now I get consistent work through Upwork. Clients find me through their search engine. 3. Events: Both networking events AND events that I shoot. This is where your ideal clients are. When I shoot a wedding, sometimes other guests, the bridal party, etc. will ask for my info. This is extremely powerful because they see you working AND get to meet you face to face. 4. Client referrals: It pays to go above and beyond for your clients - literally. When you genuinely care about their shoot experience, people catch onto that, and they talk about it with their friends and family…and boom, more clients. 5. Google: I just started getting a few leads from google this year! I’m actually hype because to be searchable on google and show up on the first or second page organically is a huge deal. Make sure you make a google business profile and get them reviews going on there! Hope this helps with your lead generation.
