🩸 ΔΕΝ ΞΕXΝΩ I was asked to do a cover shot for a magazine in Cyprus and I was surprised when the editors told me I couldn’t wear my #FreeCyprus chain. I mean I’m all for one human race, peace and love and solidarity but at the same time you are teaching our kids at school about the 1974 invasion (in a biased way) which was tragic for all sides involved but my great grandparents didn’t get to go back to their homes and I truly wish my grandparents and parents do… But to tell me my chain is too risky for press when it signals a failure from all sides to solve an issue that’s on going for almost half a century is a joke. It’s been so long that many people’s lives post war won’t understand and you shouldn’t expect everyone to get it, but everyone is entitled to claim what is theirs. Everyone should have the right to just go “home” at the end of the day. What do you think? P.S. I didn’t do the cover I’m not industry like that gtfoh… 😤 #δενξεχνω1974 #Cyprus 💔
