Elevate your push-ups (read below & save for later) 💪🏽 To get good at pushups: repetition and variety are key. While I do post a lot of my explosive and ‘fancy’ combo push-ups, I got to this level by focusing on the fundamentals (and still do). Sometimes, we see a cool video online and miss the simplicity of the training it took to get to that level. Here’s a reminder to focus on the basics and to be consistent with them. Push-ups require more than a strong chest. Explosive push-ups NEED a strong core and stabilizer muscles. This is especially important when it comes to injury prevention. What you should do to elevate your push-ups: • spilt training 3x a week • exercises in this video 8 reps x 2 sets | 2 - 3 x a week depending on your level of soreness • prioritize tempo and body weight exercises/reps • upper body mobility 1 - 2 x week It’s not just about “how much weight you can push” but rather how much weight you can control.
