We live in challenging times. Wars, injustice, climate change, racism, rising right-wing populists, slipping discourse or fear of the future. Many people lack support and hope, while others successfully convince themselves that the problems of our time are hysterical scaremongering. All the more important in these wild, restless and uncertain days is the often quoted light at the end of the tunnel. One like @hell.karrer have created with @frauen.100. Another terrific evening with some of the smartest, most interesting, funniest, most important, powerful and inspiring women in our country - and (probably a mistake in invitation management) also with me! Again, it was evident that there is a power and impact that can come from women listening to and supporting each other that is unparalleled. Across party lines. Among the fantastic singers, actresses, artists, entrepreneurs and sportswomen there were also many female politicians, journalists and opinion leaders. I don't always agree with all of them. I have had passionate arguments with many. But we can always look each other in the eye, embrace and support each other. We may often differ on the details. Also in the ideas of how we should solve certain tasks. But one overriding thing always remains untouched: We all want to create a better world together. Not only, but especially for us women! For this, a huge thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the women at the #Frauen100 anniversary and to Janina & Felicitas for being the initiators and the tireless driving force behind this special movement!
